As someone who grew up in suburban Northern Virginia, I definitely witnessed the growth of Lacrosse. I don't exactly fit the rich white bro stereotype. I was the only middle eastern kid on my team growing up, but once i hit high school I saw how much lacrosse grew. We had a very diverse team, although we still couldn't escape the rich, preppy, douche bro stereotype.
